Celebrating One Year Of Being A Diarist! | Why You Should Start Writing Now.

Yes! Yes! Yes!๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽŠ Oops sorry for being too excited right now. But as the title reads, today I am celebrating one year of writing in a diary! WOHOO!  Any of you maintain diaries? Do you enjoy it?

Well, I’m also going to be sharing some tips to get started on your diary and reasons why you should maintain a diary from now!

So Come on! Let’s grab a diary and get Diary-ing!  ( nice word, it really deserves to be in the dictionary ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿง๐ŸŒต๐Ÿป)

  • It gets your creative juices flowing! Have you ever had to write an essay but found it hard to do so because you think you just can’t do it even though you have a nice plot in your mind? Well, writing requires practice, and maintaining a diary is the perfect way to practice on a regular basis! You would gradually get the flow and in no time would be fluent in writing!
  • You can record sweet memories, accomplishments, goals and objectives! You can then read it later and smile to yourself remembering the good times!๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ’ฎ
  • It helps solves problems! Yes! It works, whenever I’m caught up in a big mess I often pour out my feelings to my diary! It can serve as a therapist by time.

  • Record all the optimistic things that occurred during the day
  • Pour yourself out, let out your feelings
  • Act like you are writing to a trusted friend ( researched a lot on this topic )
  • Make sure you write the date
  • Have incredible fun

Yay! So I hope you enjoyed this post!

Did you enjoy this post? Do you maintain a diary? What do you think Diary-ing does? Does it help you? Do you have fun writing in it? Voice your thoughts in the comments below!

P.S- I might not be posting for a while as I’m on a tight schedule Because *winks mysteriously* I’m working on a secret project! Dont worry I will let you all know quite soon!๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿป๐ŸŒต๐Ÿง

    1. Congrats for diary-ing for a whole year. ๐Ÿ™‚ So, I was going to say that I always use the word โ€œjournal.โ€ Then, I had to google if there was a difference between the two words, and a few places said that the words are synonymous but that diaries record what happened in a day (objective, specific facts) and journals record personal opinion along with facts. Iโ€™m not sure that those sources were credible, but I thought it was still interesting enough to share!

    2. Haha, Diarist is a cool word! I used to write diaries, but now I write letters to my future self in a little something I call my ‘LetterBook’. ๐Ÿ˜› I even posted about it a couple times!

    3. Your blog is so cute! And yes, I keep a journal (though not quite daily), and I agree. It’s fun, and it’s a great way to process life and keep memories for later in life. I also feel like it’s a great place to practice writing, and to get to write informally and without worrying about editing later.
