Hello! *Waves excitedly then hides sheepishly after realising the mistake done*
Okay. Let me stop beating around the bush and get to the point.
I’m so sorry I couldn’t post on Saturday ( wait. Did I post on Saturday? I’m too lazy to check😂🐧🌵) Tuesday and Wednesday! Yes! 3 days! Okay. Stop protesting and listen to me now!
Here’s my plausible reason.
School stress.😁🐧🌵 *Smiles convincingly*
Let’s just say that this might happen again because I can be busy during the week but I will try to blog whenever I can. Okay?🐧🌵
Yay! ( I really think I tell yay too much. So let’s settle into Hip Hip Hooray!)
Now, it’s time up for the blog announcement!🎉🎊🌵🐧 Woohoo! ( It was supposed to be hip hip hooray right? I keep forgetting!😞)
I am introducing a monthly post named, Book Of The Month where I will be speaking about the specific book which I have read and selected to be the privileged book of the month. I will also be typing up the blurb so that if my readers haven’t heard of the book, they will then have a vague idea of the book and I hope it will be included in their To- Purchase or To-Be-Read list! I will be rating the book too! 📖📚
So stay tuned for this month’s Book Of The Month Post!
Now onto the story I want to share with you all 💡
So, you know, my class mates decided to call me the class storyteller after this incident. Let me get to it now.
So it all started during break when I was doodling on my doodle notepad and humming to a song ( I think so) and then one of my class mates spotted me and walked up to me and asked me to tell her of my journey as a writer ( she asked this because the friends around were telling each other about my book of poetry which will be out soon) And so, I put my pen down and began my story. I was so absorbed in telling it that I failed to notice the crowd that had formed around me and the stack of chairs crowded around my chair trying to listen to my story. So by the time I was done, the one listener had become 10!😂😂 And they were so captivated by my story, (no kidding😁) that they kept pestering me to continue as I had stopped as the bell had rung commencing the next lesson.
Later on during the day I was asked again about some book recommendations and somehow the topic of my latest novel popped up and I don’t remember how, but I was asked of the plot of my latest novel, so I began telling them what I intended to write. Now is what surprised me. You see fellow reader, I had absolutely not planned so much for this novel. I just got the inspiring start for the story and injust wanted to type it down before I lost the inspiration. And then I thought, why not make it a novel ? So at random times, ideas just popped in to my head about the novel and I wrote it down but I never really focused much until now where I was surrounded by so many eager ears ready to listen to it. So I didn’t want to let them down, so I continued explaining the plot I had planned and created so far and when it came to the point where I knew I couldn’t continue, I surprisingly continued. The words just came tumbling and I was telling the entire plot! I don’t know how. I could see from the corner of my eye, that the class monitress was beaming happily at the silence of our class as they had all gathered round to listen. It felt like I was weaving stories which I loved to create and was sharing them to eager ears. I felt wonderful telling them my stories.
Moral- Sometimes when you feel like you have no idea what lies ahead of you in life, just relax a bit and try speaking with somebody. Try to engage in social interaction and you will be satisfied 😁
Hip hip hooray! That’s it for this post readers!
